My Course of This Semester

Now I am in semester November-March 2011/2012 as a part 3 of accounting student. I am grateful for still able to survive until this semester even thought in my mindset said the accounting program is a hard and tough program. For this semester I am taking 7 subjects which are BEL311, CTU231, FAR200, HBU122, LAW240, MAF220 and MGT162. I am taking all subjects in class JAC1102B included subject HBU122. For this subject I have learns in other class, JBU122A with my roommate.

BEL311

BEL311 is stand for English for Academic Purpose. Pre-requisite for this subject is BEL260. Besides, 2 credit units and 6 credit hours are required in this course. For assessment of this course are divide by two which is on-going assessment carrying 60% marks and final examination carrying the rest of 100% full marks. I have a class every Monday and Friday 8.00 a.m. at C312, and Wednesday 10.00 a.m. at SL1. My lecturer’s name is Mr. Mohd Izuan Ismail. He is very strict but a tolerance person. He also is a kind person and he had teaching me a lot of thing especially in speaking. Since I am in primary school, I do not really like an English Language subject and I am weak on that. I hope, I can improve my language skill and change my mindsets by this course.

CTU231

Every Tuesday I will attend the ‘Asas Pengetahuan Islam’ or also known as CTU231 at U008 on 2.10 p.m. This course required 2 credit unit and 2 contact hours every week. Ustaz Kamarulzaman Sulaiman is my lecturer for CTU231. He was like to advice and considering his student about Islam. He is very sporting and like to jokes. I am always enjoys in his class because it full of information that can be applied in our daily life. Furthermore, there are equally percentage of assessment mark between on-going assessment and final examination.

FAR200

As a student of accountancy, FAR200 or Financial Accounting 3 is a main subject for us. We are learning FAR subject until part 6 and FAR150 is a pre-requisite for this course. The course required 3 credit unit and 4 credit hours and it also is a core subject. For assessment mark, 0n-going assessment carrying 30% mark and final examination carrying the remainder 70% mark. Madam Rosmawati Haron acted as my lecturer for this course at the same time acted as my Academic Advisor (PA). She is happy-go-lucky person but in a same time, she is very strict about the attendance, time and a given homework. My class is every Monday and Wednesday at U103 on 10.00 a.m. and 2.10 p.m.

HBU122

Civil Defence 2 is a state of above code. This is compulsory curriculum subject for this semester. Madam Saripah Mansor is my instructor from Malaysia Civil Defence Department (JPAM). She is very caring person. The nature of motherhood in herself shine from every behavior and speech. My class for this subject is every Thursday evening at BK1.

LAW240

The code above is stand for Introduction to Commercial Law. Madam Siti Mariam Atan is my lecturer. She is very soft-spoken, honest and patient person. Sometime I feel sleepy in her class because of her voice and the subject itself. I am totally does not like a reading subject because I poor in memorizing and elaborating. This is also cause of my week English language skill. There are 3 credit unit and 4 contact hours required for this course in every week. I have a class every Tuesday and Thursday.
